Boy Crazy

Yes, my 4 1/2 year old is boy crazy. She has a boyfriend or a couple of boyfriends everywhere she goes. We have already had to have the talk that kissing is for grown-ups!

Yesterday, in the car on the way home from pre-school:

Reagan: I finally know the name of my favorite boy at school, it's Alex. He is my best boyfriend. Him and Garrett. Garrett invited me to spend the night at his house.

Me: Oh really? What did you say?

Reagan: I said yes, because Garrett has a lot of cool stuff.

On another occasion, with pride in her voice she announced, "Mommy, at lunch, I burped really loud and all the boys laughed!"

So far she has only mentioned one girl in her class. The rest of the time, it is all about the boys!!

She also has a boyfriend at the ball field. His brother is practicing football at the same time as Riley. As I was fixing her hair to go to a football game, she asked,"Are you French braiding it, Mommy?" I answered, "Yes." She smiled, "Good, I think Harry will like it."
