I understand better what happened. When he picked up his big deer that he killed in TX, the strain allowed a part of his bowel to slip into the hole where the intestine is sticking out. The surgeon was able to get the bowel back into position and he tightened the hole a bit.
I did not realize that it had happened at that moment.
The surgeon wants him to heal completely from this before they do the reversal. It may set him back a month or two. It will be wait and see.

Thanks for the update Wendy. I found out about Al and his surgery through the Hurd Grapevine. So sorry he has had to go through this. He has certainly had his share of health problems this last year. God Be With All of You. He is in control and will not put more on us than we can handle. Uncle Warrn is doing great since his heart scare about six weeks ago. Has a 70 and 60 per cent block that cannot be fixed. Must treat it with diet and exercise. Following two weeks of caric rehab he is now back in regular exercise with monitoring. Keep us in your prayers too. Called Al at six tonight on cell, no answer. Hope he is doing better and will place him on prayer list at church tonight. Let me know how he is doing. Love, Aunt Jane
