Labor Day Weekend

We had a very nice visit with my parents, Holly and kids, my aunt, my other aunt and uncle and 2 cousins and their wives and Grandmaw! We had quite a crowd! The kids had a blast. They fished very little, swam in the lake, rode the boat, rode the golf cart, and rode their scooters. Riley fell off the boat while we were docked at the gas station. Reagan is still talking about that one.

Monday was a very sad day. I even teared up when I heard about Steve Irwin's untimely death. Riley has adored him for quite a while. We were even working on a Crocodile Hunter costume for Halloween. Riley took the news pretty well. He said, "Well, at least he lived a long time." Later that night at bedtime, he said, "They are like us now (meaning Terri and the kids)." He added, "I know why God did this.... because he wants me to grow up to be like Steve Irwin." That is what he has said forthe last year or so, that he and Jenna would grow up and move to Austrailia and work at the Austrailia Zoo. (Of course, he wanted me to move too.)

We had the kids' picture made on Sunday. We have made it a tradition for the past 3 years. I will try to post the previous years and some other photos later.
