Or at least that seems to be the case in our home! Riley has a sinus infection and Reagan came home from MDO with a 102 fever! Riley will be returning to school tomorrow, but it looks as though Reagan is coming down with something. I took Riley to the Dr. yesterday. He had pink eye in both eyes and the dr. prescribed a narcotic cough syrup, eye drops and a Z pack. I gave him the cough medicine at bedtime to supress his cough in order for him to fall asleep... common sense, right? Wrong! The medicine had a reverse effect on him. His pupils constricted and his heart raced. His mind must have been going 90 mph, because he got up twice to see if it was morning yet. He worried about being tired today.... He didn't fall asleep until midnight! Needless to say, I kept him home today. (He was also running back and forth to the potty last night.)
I am hanging in there. :) Mom was here last night and today. She will be heading home this afternoon, though.
Well, you all should be getting your Christmas cards soon. I am going to post the pictures that didn't make the cut soon. Right now, I am going to go rest while Reagan is napping. Maybe I can get Riley to be still for a little while... he is definitely feeling better!
