Christmas 2008

I vowed to post about Christmas before February. I am going to get this in just under the wire! Best I can recall, Christmas was fantastic for the kids. Reagan did her usual eating of the candy from the stocking and cared less about unwrapping toys. Riley unwrapped his PSP and we didn't hear a peep from him for about an hour! Once Reagan finished off some candy, she did enjoy singing with her "Hannah Montana" cah-tar (guitar). I got it on video. Ya'll it is the best!! I have GOT to get it transferred to digital. She said, "A one, a two, a one, two, three, four... Jingle bells...." I could hardly keep the camera steady. Here are a few photos from the day.

This was actually Christmas Eve. Santa comes through our neighborhood on a fire truck and throws candy. Notice Reagan's outfit... such a fashion plate! After Santa came thru, we ate supper, put the kids' pajamas on and headed to church for the Christmas Eve service. I then spent the hour with Reagan climbing all over me. It was a beautiful service, but Reagan was a little antsy.

Paw Paw trying out Reagan's guitar. The man with two hearing aids trying to tune a guitar! Perfect!

Reagan taking a picture of me taking a picture of her. She is enjoying her new camera. Although she has said many times she wanted a REAL camera like her babysitter's, but I explained that she can drop this one more than once and it will be ok. The other kinds you can't. She actually understood and agreed that she should have this one!

Riley and the PSP. He is enjoying all aspects of it. We have downloaded CDs and pictures to it. He is officially higher tech than me!

Oh how I love those two kids!
