Riley's new favorite Daddy Stories...

Riley has missed his Daddy more than usual the past few days. I think it partly has to do with being tired from school and needing a good cry. Wednesday night after church, I found him with tears rolling down his cheeks, staring at a picture of him and Dustin. We got ready for bed and as a way of helping him come out of his sadness, I began recounting two of his new favorite stories. I don't think I have shared these particular stories on the blog, but forgive me if I repeat myself.

We would be driving along on a long trip and I would hear Dustin click the window lock on his door panel. He would just turn to me and smile. It would take a few seconds for the smell to reach me, but I would then claw at the window for fresh air!

If we were in bed, he would quickly pull the covers over my head and not let me out until he was sure I had gotten a nose full.

Get my drift?

Yeah, Dustin was a boy at heart and Riley loves to hear all about it. He even tried the sheet trick on me last night. He has a little work to do on his technique, but I am sure he will have it mastered before too long.
