My oh my how I love this baby girl. All 60 pounds and 4 feet of her. She may be getting big, but she still loves to sit in my lap!! I ate lunch with her and her kindergarten class today. She sat in my lap at the lunch table in front of all her friends. It was a good thing that I didn't bring a lunch or attempt to eat a lunch, because I can hardly see around her let alone get something to my mouth with her in my lap. I noticed later on in the classroom that when her teacher sat down for a moment, Reagan was in her lap too! She loves Mrs. S! (side note, when I was getting her dressed for school the other day, she asked where she was going, I said school, she said YAY!)
It has been an eventful birthday week. It all started on Sunday afternoon with her mermaid party at out house with just a few friends. They decorated mermaid themed cookies, including a mermaid shaped cookie that resembled the naked lady on truck tire flaps! :) Lots of jumping on the trampoline. They made "mermaid purses" and put their goodie bags into them. Cake. Singing. Presents. Cleanup. Vowing to have parties elsewhere next year, knowing I will do it all over again.
To my sweet baby girl, I love you and I love watching you grow and learn. I am so proud of you!
