My sweet Riley is 10 today! Double digits! A decade! Halfway to 20! Unbelievable.

Riley is growing up so much... physically, spiritually, and socially! Thank you so much to all our family and friends who made his birthday so special. We had a party at our house on Sunday afternoon. It was not as warm as we had expected, but that didn't stop the boys and girl from playing outside!

On his actual birthday we went to the mall to spend some birthday money and eat supper with Melissa, Ryan and Caroline. Fun was had by all!

One more sweet story, one night the week before his party, Riley came to me:

Riley: Can we put my favorite Bible verse on my cake?

Me: Well, that would be wonderful, but I have already ordered the cake.

Riley: How about if we put it on the goodie bags?

Me: Excellent idea. What is your favorite verse?

Riley: The one about all things working together for good for those who love God.

Needless to say, I got that verse attached to each of the goodie bags!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
