One of those days!

Well, Reagan was up and down last night saying her stomach hurt. She woke up this morning with a fever of 100.... so no mother's day out! Long story, short: The dr changed her antibiotic to a stronger one, shich meant we made an after dinner run to the pharmacy... not fun for a mom with PMS. We made it just fine.

As I was rocking Reagan tonight, I began crying and praying.
Reagan: what, Mommy?
Me: I am just praying. I miss Daddy.
Reagan: Daddy?
Me: Yes, where is Daddy?( I asked out of curiosity, we have talked about it before.)
Reagan: My Daddy at my school. (If someone in her life is not at home, they must be at school.) Where Riley Daddy?
Me: Riley and Reagan's Daddy died.
Reagan: Died, Oh, (but) I love him. (crossing her arms and putting her chin to her chest)

It was a sweet moment.... one of those that you wish you had a video camera attached to your head.

Funnies:

Last night, Riley was reading to me and came to a note written in cursive (in the book). He tried to read it; I offered to read it to him. He said, "No, that's ok." He proceeds to read, "Blah, blah, blah, I read it." I had to laugh out loud.

Tonight, as I was rocking Reagan, Riley began playing in the hall. I told him to stop, and then I asked Reagan if she thought I should go spank Riley's bottom? She smiled and said, "Leave the door open."

By the way, the kids are enjoying listening to Christmas music on the radio as they go to sleep. Reagan calls it "Christmas Muse-gick."

Good night... I have got to go help Allyn with some probablility and proportion problems...
