What's going on

We had a pretty good weekend, except Reagan has had a cough and a low grade temp. It is not slowing her down very much. Riley and Tyler went to the deer camp with PawPaw Sat. night. They saw 4 deer Sunday morning. Riley has always had trouble being quiet in the deer stand, but Dad said he was better after he saw the first deer, because he wanted to see more. My niece, Allyn, spent the weekend with Reagan and me. We had a good time. We did a little straightening around the house and then a little shopping. We didn't go to church on Sun, because Reagan had a 100.5. She is better today... maybe a 99. I think she will be ok for school tomorrow. She hasn't coughed as she was going to bed tonight either.

Anyway, two reasons for this post. First, Reagan's two front teeth are turning grey. The one on the right is much darker. I think this is ok (it soesn't seem to bother her), but I think I am going to call the ped dentist office anyway to confirm. I am also going to get info on painting it, only for cosmetic reasons. I knocked out a tooth when was 3, but mom held it back in place. It stayed, but turned brown b/c it died, and I was scarred for life... ha ! ha! Just kidding, it didn't bother me a bit.

The second reason is to tell about my sweet son who (as we were going to bed tonight) wanted to talk about being a Christian and going to Heaven. It started with Heaven and I told Riley about our soul going to Heaven and how when Jesus comes back to Earth we will have our Ressurection bodies and about the new Earth. He was genuinely excited. He said that he loves Earth, but he can't wait to go to Heaven to see his Daddy and God and Jesus, because he loves them all. Then we talked about salvation (I didn't use that word). We talked about how when we sin, we deserve to die and be separated from God, but God wants us to be with Him, so he sent Jesus, His Son, to live a perfect life and die on the cross for us. He totally gets it. Please pray for both of us. I want to be sure that he remembers this and understands it.
He is so funny. He even mentioned the Israelites... that they were God's people and He loved them.

Also, he read from a book about snakes tonight. His reading skills are improving so much! He loves to read non-fiction books about animals.... sharks, snakes, crocodiles, lizards.....
Well, I better go... I need to do some reading :)
