Reagan - - My Material Girl

I say material girl because she gives me lots of material. Let's see how much I can remember.

Yesterday, she told me about singing for a group of people at school. I was curious as to what group it was, so I asked what the people looked like. She replied, "Some looked like grandmas, but some looked like regular human beings."

Her first two t-ball practices were rained out, so I offered to practice with her. She quickly informed me that she had watched Riley play a lot and she knew it all. I said we would give it a try anyway. First, she put the glove on the wrong hand. We fixed that. I told her to throw the ball to me. She puts the ball in her gloved hand and tries to throw it. I said, "No, throw it with the other hand without the glove." Pointing to the glove, she asked, " Well then, what's this for?" Obviously she has been paying close attention to Riley's games!

Here's one from the boy:
Riley has been taking showers now for a while, but he took a bath one morning recently.
Riley: Will you dry me off?
Me: You dry yourself off all the time when you take a shower. Why do you want me to dry you off now?
Riley: I don't get as wet when I take a shower.

Conversation between the kids:
Riley: Reagan, are you the prettiest girl at your school?
Reagan (smiling): I don't know, but I'm the tallest!

Really, need I comment?

This was taken back in January. She was headed outside to play. She had dressed herself and "fixed" her hair.
