Well, Miss Reagan has a "sore throat virus" again. She woke up from her nap yesterday with a fever of almost 102. It continued through the night (when the Advil wore off). She made me chuckle even though it was 2 am. She was a "Chatty Cathy. It was almost as though she could not make herself be quiet. I told her to be quiet and she would say ok, then proceed to ask me,"Riley, nite, nite?" over and over and over until I would answer, then ask me all over again... She wanted her wa-ga (water), then a song..... After an hour, I put her in the bed and I laid down on the floor and she fell right asleep. I took her to the dr today and he thought it was going to be strep, but the test said no. Her fever went back up after her nap and again at bedtime tonight. Let's pray she sleeps well tonight.
Riley on the other hand is doing fine. I am reading the book, Hoot, to him. We are on chapter 6 and we are enjoying it. I am having to skip over "certain words" and give the definition to some words, but he is keeping up with the plot very well. He said tonight that he wasn't sure he was going to like it at first, but now he really likes it. He didn't like that it didn't have pictures. He wants to draw his own pictures, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Also, tonight he asked if he could sleep without his shirt on, like Daddy. I couldn't resist his reasoning, so he is snoring shirtless tonight... we'll see how long it lasts :)
