Riley is all over the pool! He loves to dive for dive sticks and such. He plays with his friends and makes new ones! He can be a lot of help with Reagan at the pool too.
Reagan is almost fearless in the water. She wears a life vest and would go all over the pool if I let her. Yesterday, as we were swimming, a storm came up and everyone got out of the pool.... except for Reagan. I got her out and was trying to corral both kids and put on my cover up and all that jazz. When I turned around, Reagan had promptly gone back over to the steps, gotten in and was in the middle of the pool before I could protest. I said, "Reagan, get out there is a storm coming and it is going to rain." She said, "No, Mommy, I fin - ning (swinmming), I fin - ning." She just kicks her legs and moves her arms and she can get wherever she wants to go. I eventually got her out by waiting by the spout where the water pours into the pool... I knew she couldn't resist it. When she got close enough, I just lifted her out. She , of course, never wants to leave the pool.
Whatta mess! Yes, yogurt can be messy, but Reagan can make neat foods messy too! She did the same thing with a spoonful of peanut butter! YUCK!
This morning, Riley did a fun ride to benefit a local charity at the parking lot of the local movie theatre, Wal-mart, and such. He and 2 friends had a blast! They made two trips around the large lot following a police officer on a bike. His Daddy would be so proud!
Here is Reagan on her bike that cousin Kacey gave to her... thanks Kacey! She loves to put on her helmet and get on the bike and say, "I done," and get off. She will get better, though, I feel sure.
