Stephanie from WR! Riley's 4K teacher from WR found out the name and artist of the song I heard in the police car. It is "If You Could See Me Now" by Russ Lee. I listened to the first minute on a website tonight, and I hope to go get it this week. It really puts a picture in your head of Heaven. Speaking of Heaven, I have started reading Heaven by Randy Alcorn (my pastor recommended it). I haven't gotten very far, but I have heard a lot of good things about it. I will let you know my thoughts as I get a little further into it.
Well, Riley has had to "flip a card" 3 days in a row this week. He is very disappointed. He is having trouble staying in his seat(I e-mailed his teacher and she told me, because Riley "didn't know why he had to flip a card." ), which is no surprise to me. Ever since he got out of the highchair at, what, 2 or 3 years old, I have struggled to keep him seated during meals. At bedtime he tosses and turns and fiddles with the sheets and wiggles for what seems an eternity some nights. We prayed tonight that Jesus would be with him at school tomorrow to remind him to stay in his seat. Granny suggested putting something in his lap to remind him. I told him to pretend like his bottom was glued to the seat.... we'll see!
I guess I will close. I have some Reagan stories, but that will have to wait until another night. Joe still hasn't shown up. I called him today, but his phone must have been off or out of range.... I left a message on the foreman's cell phone...... we'll see about that as well.
