Lots of News!

I will try to go in chronological order... also, check the Christmas Eve Post.


Christmas Day was fun at Granny and Paw Paw's... I forgot to mention why Riley's nose was scratched up on the last post. He did a face plant onto the carpet downstairs at G/PP's. Of course he was sliding down the stairs on a cot... loads of fun until someone gets hurt. Also, on Christmas Eve night, Riley said to me, "Mommy, I love Christmas and all , but it makes me miss Daddy."



Two days after Christmas we left for Jason and Traci's. We had a great visit. The cousins sure do enjoy each other. Riley , of course, thinks Jarren has the best toys! We kept up the tradition of someone getting hurt or sick. Kacey ended up with the croop (sp?). She is better now. The flights over and back were fine. On the way back we were in the back of the plane next to the flight attendant who kept us entertained. He let Riley and Reagan talk on the intercom! He was a hoot! Here, Riley is sitting in the Flight attendant's seat while talking on the intercom.

We returned home on New Year's Eve and not 10 minutes after we got home, Riley let me "yank out" (as he puts it) his TWO loose teeth! These are a first for him, so we are very excited. They were actually stuck together... literally. They were held together by a piece of cartilage or something. The tooth fairy came and brought him money for the Star Wars Lego game for his gameboy (per his instructions). He is so precious! Again, as we were going to bed, Riley mentioned how he wished D were here to see him.

The bad news is, we may have another family member to lose teeth this week. Yes, I believe that Reagan's tooth is abscessing. There is a white ulcer looking place above the tooth. I called the dentist today and they are going to work her in tomorrow. More than likely if it is abscessed, they will pull it. Pray for us. Mostly her, but I am not happy about this. We will get a fake one (or two, if they decide to pull both) put in, but it will be 6 - 8 weeks before the fake ones will be ready. I will blog again tomorrow and let you know what the dentist says.
