Yes! Thank you so much for the prayers. I took her to the ped dentist today. They did an x-ray and the root looks fine. She thinks that it is just a plain old ulcer on her gums. It is possible that it will abscess sometime, because the tooth itself is so dark and is not in good shape. I am just glad they didn't have to do it today. I just wasn't ready. We still may have to have it (or both front teeth) pulled to put in a fake one for cosmetic reasons, but that can be on our terms when we are ready. She said that painting or other methods most likely would not cover the darkness in her tooth....
