All of Dustin's mountain biking buddies will love this!
Today I took Riley's bike to the bike shop to get a kick stand installed and learned a little something about my husband. I think the woman at the counter recognized my last name and we began to talk about how we had moved away and moved back... She asked me if I was happy that we moved back and I said I was glad to be back, but it was on sad terms. Then I explained what had happened. She gasped and said that she definitely remembered Dustin... that they have his TV. I said, "What?" She said that Dustin had traded the TV for some work on his bike! He did it before we were married, but I have a faint memory of him telling me about it. That is a classic Dustin story! I plan to post it on his website too.
I had a landscape company do a good bit of work in our yard and it looks great. I am very pleased.
Reagan just got back from a mini-vacation at Granny and Paw Paw's. She was very excited to be home. Riley had his last t-ball game tonight and we all had fun. Granny and Paw Paw were able to join in on the fun. Paw Paw is doing ok... We don't think he is following the dr's instructions about not putting weight on it, but he is a stubborn man!
Riley went hiking with a Will, Tom, Tom's son, and Tyler (my sister's son) on Saturday afternoon and Tyler spent the night with us. As we were driving to church on Sunday, Riley and Tyler were looking through their Bibles. Tyler asked Riley, "What page are ya'll on?" It was precious!!
One more thing, Reagan has given a name to one of her dolls! I asked her what the baby's name is and she said, "Green!"
Well, I need to go read Systematic Theology (by Wayne Grudem)! It's not the type of book you want to read when you are sleepy, you won't remember anything. I am enjoying it more now. I have gotten used to his writing style... I am in a reading group at my church.
I hope all of you are doing well!
