Dad ended up having the surgery yesterday around 6pm. Thanks to my neighbors, Jennifer and Jason, and my best friend, Amy, I was able to go and be with Mom during the surgery. They put 3 pins in his leg and he will be able to come home hopefully Tues morning, but the hard part is he won't be able to put pressure on his leg for 6 WEEKS. He will either be using crutches or a wheelchair. This will be difficult for my dad as he likes to have his freedom, but it is crucial that he obey the dr because it won't heal properly if he doesn't.
Thank you so much for your prayers. We are so thankful that his accident wasn't worse than it was. And thank you so much to Jennifer and Jason and Amy for keeping the kids!
Another piece of good news, Riley has gotten up (on his own) to go to the bathroom 2 nights now and has stayed dry!!
