Riley, Tyler, Jenna and Uncle Chad enjoyed riding the waves. Uncle Chad even rented a surf board one day.
Reagan spent most of her time at the pool. She did not like the ocean... it kept knocking her down. She played in the sand some, but always asked to go to the big pool or the baby pool.
We have a lot to learn about taking beach pictures. First of all, we had to take them in the morning because dad was leaving to go see a friend in the hospital. I guess that is why we were all squinting so much. Riley, Tyler and Paw Paw would have much rather been anywhere else. Reagan hated it, and we forgot to take a picture of just the grandkids... lesson learned! We have been very busy since we got back from the beach last night! Let me back up a little, so you can be fully updated. The night before we left for the beach, it rained a lot and of course, the garage flooded. Will came over during our trip and put out another fan in the garage and a de-humidifier in Reagan's room. Everything was fine when we got back. I have been so busy since we got back that I have not called Shane, the foreman, yet, but I will on Monday. The babysitter is coming to keep the kids, so hopefully I can concentrate on the problem and make all necessary phone calls.
The beach was fun! It rained off and on the first two days we were there, but it was good opportunities to go in for lunch and nap. We shopped some and ate well. Even though it was overcast, we still got some sun. The biggest news of all was posted while we were there ... Reagan can swim! We are all amazed and so were many people at the pool. I kept getting asked, "How old is she?" She will be 2 1/2 next month! She acts as though she has a new toy. She barely comes up for air and she is back down swimming!
Riley's big news is that he got a hermit crab. He is so excited to have a pet again, but he has (so far) been unable to settle on a name.
