Friday, July 21

My builder's foreman came by today (I actually like him much better!). He spent 20 minutes soaking that side of the house with the water hose and the sprinklers. The water did start coming back into the garage! Yea! We got somewhat of an answer. He thinks the water is coming through the mortor and it needs to be sealed. He is going to handle it. The bad news is, the floor was wet in Reagan's room too. It isn't sloshingly wet, but I am sure the pad is wet. The only wet spots were where heavy furniture was sitting and it had soaked up the water. (Does that make sense?) Anyway, my question to all of you, is should I pull up the carpet so that it doesn't mildew? or just let it dry and see how it goes? I did let Shane, the foreman, know that Reagan's carpet was wet, but he didn't offer to help out with it? I don't want to call him and ask for it, just because I don't like being pushy.... anyway, any comments would be greatly appreciated. THanks.
