I came across a list of a couple of "riley-isms." When they do something cute or funny, I jot it down on anything, so I can remember to blog about it. These were said by Riley months ago:
"Stop Reagan, don't be wild!" - that is the pot calling the kettle black!
"A'hem (clearing your throat noise), thats what Daddy used to do. He would make that noise when his boss forgot something."
Just the other night, Riley and Reagan were in the bathroom brushing their teeth when I walked up. Riley said, "Reagan is going to let me brush her teeth." He sat on the closed potty and took her chin in his hand. (She was grinning from ear to ear.) He began to brush and she began to wiggle. Sounding exactly like his mother, Riley said, " Do you want to do this the hard way?" (If Reagan won't be still for me to brush her teeth, I hold her in my arms and hold down her hands.... it's called "the hard way.")
By the way, Reagan is amazing me in the pool. She will put her face in the water and kick. She is trying so hard to swim like Riley. Even in the baby pool without her jacket on, she will get on her belly and put her face in the water and kick! Of course, the other day she dunked herself a little too much and ended up throwing up in the pool! They had to close the pool for the rest of the evening. Luckily, we were up at Holly's pool and it was 6:30 PM. We felt so bad. She wasn't sick, just water-logged.
