What we gon' do we wake up?

... asks Reagan at anytime, day or night. She is hoping that I will answer, "Go to the beach." She is very excited about our beach trip planned for JUNE!

Many of you have asked how Sunday went. It went well. I need to back up a little, though. It turned out that we had to re-tape the clip on Thursday because a setting wasn't right on the camera on Tuesday. I asked if it was a setting ot remove my southern accent, but unfortunately, it was not. Basically, this is the jist of what I said:

"Two and a half years ago, my husband was killed in a car accident and our world began to spin. We were livin' (yes, I said livin' instead of living... supposedly no one noticed :) ) in WR at the time, but came back to HS for the funeral. Our church family opened their hearts to us and prayed for us and with us, cried with me, and grieved with me. They encouraged me and I want to be an encouragement to others. If the Holy Spirit is prompting you to encourage someone, then do it. You never know what someone is going through and it just may be the very thing they need at that time."

Something like that, anyway. I hope and pray it was a blessing and an encouragement to at least one person. God is my strength. I am nothing but a sinner without Him.

On a lighter note, here is the picture by Riley that went to the county art show! It is a little fuzzy because, being Mother Of the Year, I forgot my camera. This was taken with my mom's phone. It still looks fantastic to me! The tree trunk was pre-cut by his art teacher, but he used a sharpie to do all the limbs and he cut out other paper for the mountains and everything else. Notice the birds in the distance.
It was so great to talk to his art teacher, Ms. Alice. Yes, she goes by her first name... can't get much more southern than that, ya'll. She said Riley comes into class and gets busy because he knows he doesn't have much time. I am so glad to hear he can focus! He is going to take her week long art class this summer. I can't wait for more Riley originals! The school art show is next week, so I look forward to that as well.
