I have to write this down while I am thinking about it. Last night as I finished reading the story of Joshua and Jericho, Reagan looked at me and said, "There's a song about that." We proceeded to sing the VeggieTales song "Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho... and the walls came tumbling down." Reagan put her hand on her wall and said, "This a wall, it tumbled down?"
A while later, Riley interrupted me before I could get past the title, "Ruth and Naomi." He said, "Their husbands died. We learned about that at church." I have read that story to him before too. I don't know why I am so amazed when he remembers things he has been taught. It is completely natural, but somehow it is still amazing to me.
