Well Folks, it was fun while it lasted. R and R are not allowed to sleep in the same bed right now for several reasons. The first, they can't agree on whose bed to sleep in; they each want their own. Second, they can't leave each other alone long enough to fall asleep. Third, Riley is having a lot of trouble sleeping again. He is even waking up during the night again. Please pray that this phase will pass QUICKLY. School starts in a little over a week, and he needs some restful sleep. Misbehavior and a meltdown about missing his dad usually accompany the restless nights, so how to handle that is on my prayer request list as well.
I can't think of much else that has been going on. I sent out an e-mail to several girlfriends in search of an artist to do portraits of the kids from pictures. If any of you know anyone that you would recommend, please let me know. I should have done it a long time ago!

Mom reminded me of a Riley story today. It was bedtime, Riley was maybe 3, I was already sitting in bed, and Dustin was getting ready for bed. Riley looks at me and says, "Mommy, if Daddy bovers (bothers) you, just come get me. I'll be in my room." And he closed the door to our bedroom.
Today Mom asked Reagan: Do you like being a girl?
Reagan: Yes..... because God made me!
