A little better every day....

Daddy's white blood count is 17,000 (normal is 4-10K), so he is getting there. He is still swollen and sedated, but the GI surgeon has ordered up some T-bone steak and Barq's root beer to be pureed and sent down his NG tube. Well, maybe not steak and root beer, but he is going to be fed down the NG tube. He believes that his intestines are ready! :) His blood pressure is better and they are even able to decrease the blood pressure medicine. The lung dr is again dialing back the ventilator as well!
