All the dr.s are saying that Dad is slowly progressing. The lung dr. said that they will take the vent out tomorrow and if he can handle it, leave it out! With the vent out, they will stop the sedation and they said he will likely be agitated and uncomfortable. That part makes me sad. I don't like seeing my dad agitated or uncomfortable! No one wants a loved one to hurt or be upset.
His white blood cell count is down to 13K also! :)
He handled the nutrition down the NG tube just fine and it exited him thru the ileostomy bag. And Allyn asked the dr if the bag would inflate if he toots and the dr said yes! :)
I think that is all for now.
