They had taken away the pain med and ativan b/c it is constipating, but they gave the ativan back as of 30 min ago. Prais the Lord! Ativan makes him sleep which is good. I will post again after the dr.s come by this afternoon.
He REALLY wants some water/wetness in his mouth. They are having to keep his stomach empty in case they need to do surgery (take out his colon). My prayer is that Daddy's thirst will be quinched by the Living Water. He is begging for water and can't have it. No pain med/ativan b/c they are narcotics so he is restless again.
Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the wa...ter I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:13-14
I am home now. Holly is getting close to town. Allyn and Jenna are here and Riley and Reagan are back home too! So good to see my kids again!
**Funny**
I have to have some comic relief and leave it to Reagan to provide. I am at the hospital and my phone rings... "Home" is calling...
Riley: Mom, where is the sunblock? Mrs. Jennifer is taking us swimming.
Me: On top of the dryer.
Riley: Ok, I got it.
Clunk.
My phone rings again.
Reagan: Hey Mommy! Riley called you back b/c I wanted to talk to you.
Me(I can just imagine the conversation that had taken place between phone calls.): Hey, Sweetie! Are you having a good time?
Reagan: Yes! I got to have Sprite! and a hot dog and cheetos at the festival at Victoria's church last night. And they had pie in the face! It was awesome!
Me: I am so glad you had fun. Have fun at the pool! I love you!
Reagan (voice sounding a little further away... I assume she was looking at the phone.): How do you turn this thing off?
Me(thinking how crazy it is that my child doesn't know how to work a regular phone): Push the button that says "o-f-f"
Reagan: Nevermind Riley said he would turn it off. Bye, Mommy, I love you!
It was so funny at the moment. The funny may not translate in the written word! :)

Aren't you thankful Victoria's parents gave Reagan such a nutritious meal? Did I tell you that Reagan ran to the front of the sanctuary with Victoria and sang the VBS songs with her? Reagan has no fear! She is a joy! Matthew's new phrase of the day was, "Luff (love) Reagan."
We're thinking of you and your family, Wendy. Take care!
